Wattsdat

The Energy as a Service Ledger (EaaS Ledger), built by PROSUME with Wattsdat, an energy metering and efficiency system integrator, so that service providers and consumers trust the same energy data.

Energy efficiency now involves many players working on different loads in the same building: HVAC, lighting, cold chain. ESCOs invest to cut consumption. Aggregators steer appliances to follow the grid.

Each of them gets paid on what they save or shift. But the data from different meters and providers rarely agrees, and building managers spend a lot of time working out the real flows and who is owed what.

The EaaS Ledger stores usage patterns, environmental data and price signals in one shared, unchangeable ledger, and computes the exact revenue for each player.

Main features

  • Continuous measurement and verification of real performance, based on international standards.
  • Unchangeable, secure records that every player can trust.
  • Smart contracts that compute each player's periodic compensation.
  • Monitoring of loads, environmental KPIs, baselines, time-of-use tariffs, demand-response schedules and savings sharing.
  • Access levels for different types of users.
