e-Prosume with Evolvere
Italian aggregator Evolvere and PROSUME brought the blockchain into the home, through Evolvere's EUGENIO smart-home gateway.
Evolvere managed around 12,000 PV plants. With e-Prosume it became the first aggregator to sign a blockchain development plan of this size.
The first step was to put PROSUME's blockchain software inside EUGENIO, the gateway Evolvere installed in homes.
The plan: the first 2,000 smart-home devices in the world working as nodes of an energy blockchain. A cloud platform collects production, consumption and price data from them.
